Children all around the world grow up in an institution or foster homes. Millions of children live in third world countries and do not have a family to raise them. How could this issue be fixed? International adoption introduces numerous kids into the United States every year and has a positive impact on the lives of the adoptees and their adoptive parents. These children are given the chance to have a family and be able to fulfill their full potential. When it comes to the topic of international adoption, most Americans agree that it is strictly beneficial. Where this agreement usually ends, however, is on the question of if taking children from their birth country and culture will confuse or harm them. Whereas some are convinced that the adoptees should be raised within their birth culture, supporters of international adoption maintain that any child is better off with a safe, loving home, no matter where it is located. International adoption, although it takes adoptees out of their birth country, is a good way to give children loving homes, bridge cultural gaps in America, provide opportunities for children, and help potential parents in America.
